THE MONARCH SCENIC TRAM

Riding the Monarch Scenic Tram is one of Salida Colorado's most beloved activities, especially during wintertime. After closing for a while, it is back open as of Spring 2023. Take a scenic mountain ride for an exciting view of Salida from above while also visiting their cafe and ski shop which open during the winter season so you can make it a day trip out of town with plenty to do - skiing, snowboarding or tubing included!

The Salida Museum is an excellent way to learn more about Salida, Colorado and its culture. Established by Harriet Alexander in 1938, it provides insight into Salida's past as well as that of those who shaped it over time. This fascinating attraction is only open on the weekends, so plan accordingly!
